Floydfest, The Children's Universe, & The Parent Planet
Floydfest is a 5 day family & eco-friendly music & arts festival held annually near Floyd, Virginia.
One of the things that makes Floydfest so special is their focus
on families and children. The Children's Universe at Floydfest is a wonderland that includes a playground and huge wooden arc, as well as jugglers, puppeteers, stilt walkers, and musicians! Kids' workshops this year include Animal Yoga, Taekwondo and a Global Village Painting party - there is also a talent show & parade! Another amazing amenity is onsite childcare in the Children's Universe provided this year by Blue Mountain School.
ASAP Sitters is very excited to be a part of the Children's Universe and to be hosting the Parent Planet Tent which is generously sponsored by Hansen Kids, LLC. The Parent Planet at Floydfest will be place for mamas and daddies to rest with their littlest ones: to nurse & feed, change & clean, and relax and play with their young children.
Through generous donations from our partners, the Parent Planet will have free samples of Hansen Kids eco-friendly premium bamboo Andy Pandy diapers, Earth Mama Angel Baby Angel Baby Bottom Balm and Natural Nipple Butter, and Go Chews whole food snacks from momme meals. A Kiinde bottle warmer will be available for use as will beautiful handmade toys from Snapdragon Toy Co. Raffle prizes include amazing goodies from Badger Balm Baby, Happy Family, Earth Mama Angel Baby, and Kiinde.
