How we select our babysitters
ASAPSitters, LLC knows you want a trustworthy, experienced, and reliable babysitter for your child or children. We also know finding the right person can be challenging and more often than not quite time consuming.
Qualified Babysitters must:
- Have legal eligibility for employment
- Have babysitting or child care experience
- Have a valid Driver's License/ID and dependable transportation
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Authorize a criminal background check
- Provide three references
- Be fun, energetic, creative, and patient
All prospective babysitters fill out our extensive Babysitter Application. We want to know how a babysitter candidate thinks about childcare and child development; what she or he considers age-appropriate activities, what age groups s/he has exprience with, how s/he thinks about challenges and discipline, how s/he would handle an emergency; and many more important aspects of caring for children. The application is then reviewed and if it meets our qualifications, an interview is conducted. After the interview, we begin verification of personal and professional references, as well as a nationwide criminal background & sex offender check. We also require that all babysitters have a current driver’s license or ID and documentation of legal eligibility for employment. Detailed information about any babysitter is available to our families, including references and background checks.
