Hello! My name is Ali and I am originally from Tampa, Florida. I received my Bachelors of Science in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University. I traveled the country teaching leadership to middle and high school students and later started coordinating the conferences. I have been baby-sitting since I was 14 for kids ranging in age from infancy to 11. I have also held various volunteer positions ranging from teaching preschool children the fundamentals of reading while in college to most recently being a Guardian ad Litem, which is an advocate for children that are in the dependency court. If I were to ask the kids I have baby sat to describe me they would say I am fun, funny, and always look forward to seeing me!
Hello! My name is Alexys and I am a second year student at the University of Virginia. I know that I would like to apply to medical school, and that I am minoring in bioethics, but beyond that not everything is set in stone. Most days, I am a biology major, but some days, I decide I want to be a math major, but I have plenty of time to hammer out the details! During the summer I work as a kayaking instructor at the Jamestown 4-H Educational center, so I love working with kids in the great outdoors! I also love arts and crafts. At Jamestown 4-H our motto is experiential learning, and that is the motto I have as a babysitter. My goal is to always have fun, but to be learning while we do it!
Hello I'm Alicia! 22 years old and a recent graduate from the University of Virginia in the great city of Charlottesville. I've been babysitting since I was practically a child myself, and caring for kids has always been a very rewarding passion of mine. I believe that while kids may have a lot to learn we also can learn a lot from them in return. Alongside all my extracurricular collegiate achievements I enjoy spending my free time reading, writing poetry, listening to music, watching movies with my roommates, and keeping in touch with friends and family back home.
