Hi guys!! I'm Ashley, a current resident of the Richmond area and am a microbiologist at Altria for the Lancaster Laboratories Company. Being that I want to be a pediatrician, I have a great passion for working with children of all ages. Being a part of their nurturing and childhood is such a gift and it's a great time to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives. I am willing to work with children who have special needs and medical issues, as well as those who may have behavioral issues. I will be more than happy and willing to work with the children in learning their numbers and alphabet, reading to them, and giving them the attention they require.

I have experience caring for children ages 5 weeks old – 15 years old through babysitting, volunteering, working at summer camps, tutoring, mentoring at an elementary school, and working at a licensed day care. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time, and I have experience with twins. Additionally, I am comfortable caring for children with special needs. I believe that babysitting should be fun!
My certifications include: HSI First Aid & CPR/AED for all ages, Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid, Red Cross Advanced Child Care, and Red Cross Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine Auto-Injection.
Hello, My name is Chantelle. I am currently a student studying Psychology and Gender Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. In the future I hope to become a clinical Child Psychologist. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have two younger siblings, both boys who I was often responsible for taking care of while my parents were out and I babysat for various family friends and church families while I was growing up. From the age of 16 until I left for college I worked in my church nursery with infants and toddlers. I also worked as a sunday school teacher for 2 years with 3rd and 4th grade girls. Most recently I worked as an Activity Center Assistant Leader for Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation where I worked with children from ages 5 to 11. While working there I also had the opportunity to work with children who had various learning, social, or mental disabilities. As a babysitter I pride myself on getting to truly know the children I am working with. I believe that children are Little Adults and they have super special characteristics, feelings, and perspective that I highly value. I always learn something new when I am working with children and I always try to adapt to each child's different needs and wants. I am extremely calm and very attentive. And I always want the child and myself to have a safe, fun, interactive, educational time together. Positively impacting little lives to help motivate the future of out world is my passion and calling and I hope I can share my love for children with your family and get to know some fabulous kiddies! :D
My name I Danielle Williams and I am currently a sophomore at the Virginia Commonwealth University. My major is Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. My goal with this degree is to become an Occupational Therapist. I am currently a member of the VCU Co-Ed Cheerleading team for VCU men's and woman's basketball. I Have been watching children since high school were I found my start as a mentor to a young girl on my cheerleading team. From there during the summer of my junior year, I was a part-time nanny for a two year old boy. I have watched children off and on between then and now I always find so much enjoyment from it.
