Who We Are

   

ASAP Sitters referrals consist of a variety of professionals from the field of child care.Our sitters are nannies, child care workers, teachers, college students, and others in related fields. All sitters go through a rigorous screening process that includes a thorough phone and personal interview, professional and personal reference check, and criminal background check.

ASAP Sitters is owned and operated by Eva Skoczylas. Eva has a professional background in child development and child care management and has been in the field for over 10 years. She also has an MA in Family and Child Counseling. Eva has worked as a counselor, a teacher, and as the Coordinator of a Children’s Playroom at a non-profit in San Francisco. As the Playroom Coordinator Eva supervised, trained, and supported staff and volunteers in understanding children’s social and emotional development and assisted parents and children in navigating developmental issues. Eva returned to the DC area in 2006. She brings her experience and commitment to outstanding child care to ASAP Sitters. Eva became a proud mom herself in 2007.
